Privilege Management

At the core of the OASIS CMS is a robust user management system allowing for account management, role assignment and permission management. At the same time, OASIS CMS can integrate directly with MS ActiveDirectory using LDAP libraries.

Groups (or roles) can be established in OASIS CMS as well as pulled in from ActiveDirectory.   Permissions to read, update and remove information is managed both at the page level as well as module level. For example, a specific user or group of users can be assigned to write to a specific news module on one page but not a news module on another page. As another example, a read permission maybe provided to a company's entire staff to download a file but only those who belong to a specific group (say Human Resources) could overwrite that document for download.
