How do I Manage My Profile?

To Access Your Profile:

  • At the top of any page, click on the Your Name.

To Edit Your Profile Text Content:

  • Navigate to your profile.
  • Click the Edit Profile button beneath your profile image.
  • Note: Your profile image may only contain a placeholder; it too can be edited.
  • Enter content into the editable fields to provide additional information.
  • Click Save at the bottom of the profile to commit the changes to the system.

To Adjust Your Profile’s Photograph:

  • Navigate to your profile.
  • Click the Edit Profile button beneath your profile image.
  • Click the Upload a Profile Photo button beneath the photo/placeholder.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to upload your photo.
  • Click Save to complete the operation, and Close to exit the dialog box.

To Adjust Various Notification and Display Settings:

  • Navigate to your profile.
  • Click the Edit Profile button beneath your profile image.
  • Change the configuration variable by placing or removing a check from the relevant check box.
  • Is Profile Visible: When checked, your profile is available for viewing by all users of the intranet. If unchecked, your profile is private, and others will not be able to view it.
  • Hide acknowledgments: When checked, acknowledgments that you have accepted (i.e., extended to you by your colleagues) will be shown at the bottom of your profile. When unchecked, acknowledgments will not be displayed.
  • CC My personal email: When checked, email messages automatically generated by the intranet (typically associated with notifications) will be sent to your personal email account
  • Email me updates: When checked, instructs the system to send automatic updates by email to your email account(s). When unchecked, suppresses any system notifications that might be generated to your email account(s).
  • Click Save to complete the operation, and Close to exit the dialog box.

To Configure Display of Recognition Received:

  • Navigate to your profile.
  • Locate recognition offered to you at the bottom of the page.
  • Select the Edit button presented beneath the recognition item.
  • The Edit Recognition dialog will pop-up.
  • To have the recognition display beneath your profile, click on the checkbox beside Approved.  (To not show this, click on this same checkbox and be sure you don’t see a checkmark in the box.)
  • To display the comments added by the recognition giver, click on the checkbox beside Display Comments.  (To not show the comments, click on this same checkbox and be sure you don’t see a checkmark in the box.)
  • Click Save to commit your changes.

To Remove a Recognition that you Don’t Want to Accept:

  • Navigate to your profile.
  • Locate recognitions offered to you at the bottom of the page.
  • Click the Remove Recognition button. 
  • The Remove Acknowledgments dialog will pop-up.
  • Click on the Acknowledgment to be permanently removed from your profile.
  • Click the Remove button at the bottom of the dialog box.
