How Do I Add Content to or Manage the Quick Links?

You can add new content to or edit existing content in the Quick Links widget. The Quick Links widget is one of many List resource instances used at the site.

To Create a New Entry in the Quick Links Widget:

• Place the home page (where the Quick Links widget is located!) into edit/compose mode (click on the Layout Manager button to open the Layout Manager Palette).
• Click on the Add New button at the top of the widget (nestled near the widget title bar).
• Compose a link title and provide a relevant URL (by either typing the full URL with http:// prefix or by clicking on the link button, and navigating to a resource or item in the site).
• Click Save, then close the dialog box.

To Delete a Quick Link:

• Place the home page into edit/compose mode (click on the Layout Manager button to open the Layout Manager Palette).
• Identify, in the Quick Links widget, the item you wish to delete.
• Click on the Delete button below the item.
• Confirm your intention to delete this item by clicking OK in the triggered dialog box.

To Edit a Quick Link:

• Place the home page into edit/compose mode (click on the Layout Manager button to open the Layout Manager Palette).
• Identify, in the Quick Links widget, the item you wish to change.
• Click on the Edit button below the item.
• Edit the contents of one or both fields
• Click Save, then close the dialog box.
