The Layout Manager

This option toggles the current page into “page layout mode”. Toggling this option on (by clicking the Layout Manager  icon) will show a varied set of resource icons.

Icons available in the layout manager can be dragged and dropped on to a page. Once certain resource icons are dropped onto the page, they will need to be configured. Configuration of resources is covered in Managing Site Content. 

Following the icons, administrators will find two optional check boxes that can be toggled on and off. When checked, the Stay Open option will force the Layout Manager to remain in “page-layout mode” after refreshing. When checked, the Force Edit option will maintain “page-layout mode” after refreshing without keeping the Layout Manager open.

Advanced Options will offer a range of layout styles for displaying content on a page.
