The Canadian Centre for Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology (WinSETT) takes advantage of OASIS to support their efforts in recruiting, retaining and advancing women in science, engineering, trades and technologies.

The WinSETT Centre uses collaboration and partnerships to advocate for and encourage women to enter, stay and grow in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technologies within Canada.  The organization

The Project

The Canadian Centre for Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology realized the need to replace a dated website with a powerful and easy-to-update website and portal which would support them in their efforts towards recruiting, retaining, and advancing women in SETT.  OASIS would provide them with the flexibility and ease-of-use required. Through this new website, the organization distributes organization news, promotes a number of programs and initiatives and offers a collection of valuable resources for women in SETT along with a collection of their own publications.  The organization leadership and membership also maintain a secure portal to support knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Outcomes

The new WinSETT website has been well received. It provides the visitors with a fresh new look and the information they need, while along the WinSETT team to easily and rapidly publish the content they need to keep their audience informed and engaged.
