Large community health organization develops their new accessible and responsive website and employee portal in OASIS.

Background

Rexdale Community Health Centre services are available to hundreds of thousands in North Etobicoke.  Their mandate is to promote and support community health in Rexdale through programs aimed at physical, economic, social and mental wellness. The organization, which services a very diverse population, is funded by a number of government partners and donations from the community.

The Project

In order to better service their community the Rexdale CHC issued an Request for Proposal to redevelop their aged and under-maintained website.  The organization required a new website which was accessible to the entire community, responsive to mobile devices, presented critical information in an efficient and easy-to-find manner and was quickly and easily updated.  The organization chose to partner with Sandbox Software Solutions to implement their new website in the OASIS Content Management System. At the same time, the CHC was looking to have an employee portal developed to house useful resources, forms and information for staff.

Outcomes

The new Rexdale Community Health Centre website provides a clean, professional and client centric user interface.  The accessible and responsive website also  allows staff of the CHC to quickly update content at the site including program information, events, news, and videos. Behind the OASIS website is a secure portal where staff can obtain valuable information, documents and forms.
